Downtown Bend bar robbed by gunman

M & J Tavern was robbed by an armed man Sunday night, according to Bend police.

Lt. Ken Stenkamp said the bar at 102 N.W. Greenwood Ave. was robbed by Robert Porter, 52, of La Pine. Porter was wearing a mask, holding a handgun and demanding money. He entered the bar at 5:55 p.m. and left on....
