Elks score late to beat Bells

A late error with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning allowed the Bend Elks to pull off a 5-4 victory over the Bellingham Bells and avoid a sweep in the West Coast League weekend series on Sunday.

With the victory, the Elks (16-14) climbed to within one game of the Bells (17-13)....
