COIC to receive more than $1M for rural transit improvements

More than $1 million of the $14.7 million in stimulus money heading to Oregon for rural transit improvements will go to the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council, which plans to expand its regionwide public transit system, Cascade East Transit.
