Bend Mayor Kathie Eckman is encouraging teens ages 13-18 to participate in the Oregon sesquicentennial Project 2059. Participants will attend a two-day summit at Willamette University in Salem Aug. 7-8. About 50-60 teens from around the state are expected to attend the event.
