Protecting pigs from people

Oregon’s efforts to protect pigs from swine flu have local fair officials afraid that people may get the wrong message - that pigs are the problem

The Oregon Department of Agriculture is suggesting pig owners distance swine from the general public at this year’s county and state fairs.

But it’s not to protect fairgoers. It’s for the pigs.
