Planned 4-day school week creates new ‘opportunity’

When the Redmond School District adopted a four-day week, what would happen on the fifth day was something of a mystery.

The district adopted the four-day week as it attempted to bridge a budget shortfall of up to $7 million, which came because of state funding cuts.
