Cherry-Berry Clafoutis

Clafoutis is a simple dessert, a rustic pudding-like offering that originated in Limousin, in the center of France.

4 TBS butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 lg eggs

1 C half-and-half

¾ C granulated sugar

½ C flour

2 TBS dry sherry, brandy or orange juice

¼ tsp salt
