Silverton teacher accused of sexually abusing boy

SALEM — Police arrested a sixth-grade teacher accused of sexually abusing a boy over a four-year period, beginning when the child was 13.

Susan Alderson, 46, of Salem, was lodged at the Marion County jail Wednesday following her arraignment on charges of rape, sodomy and sex abuse.
