New club for girls to meet Mondays

The Fremont District of the Boy Scouts of America recently started the area’s first Venturing Crew, a club for girls ages 14-20.

The group, which now includes six girls, meets Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Bend.
