Bank of the Cascades robbed in Bend

A man escaped with an undisclosed amount of money after robbing the Bank of the Cascades branch on Bend’s south side Tuesday afternoon.

Lt. Ken Stenkamp of the Bend Police Department said police were called to the bank around 4:30, just after the suspect had left on foot headed west.....
