Program will teach high schoolers green construction skills

A program to provide summer work and job training to Central Oregon high school students will be launched next month with help from a grant announced Friday by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Heart of Oregon Corps, based in Bend, will receive $699,600, one of 183 organizations across the country....
