Elks fall in opening game

CORVALLIS — An early lead was not enough as the Bend Elks fell to the host Corvallis Knights 6-5 in 11 innings on Tuesday at Oregon State’s Goss Stadium.

The game was the first of the season for the two West Coast League teams.
