PORTLAND — Oregon state troopers say it took sets of spike strips in two states to stop a California man during a 50-mile chase.
Troopers said they tried to stop a Land Rover in Southern Oregon for a taillight violation early Friday, but the driver sped up, hitting speeds of 90 mph.
