Prineville Airport gets grant for runway

The Prineville Airport recently received a grant for around $100,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration to repave and widen its main runway.

The grant is one of the first installments of $2.5 million in total coming from the FAA.

Currently, the runway is 5,000 feet long and 60 feet wide.....
