RIVERSIDE, Calif. — John Backlund, of Redmond, finished second in the men’s 65-69 age group at the 2009 USA Masters 15K Race Walk Championships on May 17. Backlund clocked in with a time of 1 hour, 44 minutes, 43 seconds.
