Bertagnolli wins stage; Menchov retains Giro lead

FAENZA, Italy — Leonardo Bertagnolli won the 15th stage of the Giro d’Italia with a long breakaway Sunday in severe heat, while Denis Menchov held onto the overall leader’s pink jersey.
