Wildfire east of San Diego forces home evacuations

JAMUL, Calif. — Authorities say a wildfire burning in California’s San Diego County has forced the evacuation of about 80 homes.

State forestry and fire protection department spokesman Nick Schuler said the 60-acre fire near Jamul was about 20 percent contained Friday.
