Small brush fire starts near St. Charles Bend

Several juniper trees and surrounding brush and grass caught fire Thursday near St. Charles Bend, according to a news release from the Bend Fire Department.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 2:44 p.m. and were able to contain the fire to around one-tenth of an acre. The cause of the fire....
