28’s Chorizo-Stuffed Dates

Makes 2 dozen.

24 dates, pits removed

2 chorizo sausages

12 slices bacon, cut in half

24 toothpicks, soaked in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice chorizo sausages into matchsticks the length of the dates. Fill the pitted dates with chorizo.

Wrap each date....
