A Bend deputy fire marshal convicted of reckless driving stemming from a 2007 Fourth of July incident on Awbrey Butte was sentenced to 40 hours of community service, one year of probation and a 90-day driver’s license suspension Thursday by a Deschutes County Circuit Court judge.
