Local boxers earn state titles

Two boxers from Central Oregon emerged as state champions after the 2009 USA Boxing Oregon State Championships, staged last weekend at the Bend Armory.

Juan Ulloa of the Deschutes County Rocks Club in Bend defeated Austin Hernandez of Medford to claim the 141-pound state championship.
