Big Brothers Big Sisters set to end in Redmond

Nancy Herr, 49, of Sisters, a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon, made a list of all the things her 8-year-old “Little Sister” wanted to do.

The list was long, but three items stood out: learn to cook, ride in an elevator and figure out how to swim.....
