Bend’s Eaton hits NCAA-qualifying mark in decathlon

EUGENE — University of Oregon junior Ashton Eaton won the Oregon Relays decathlon on Friday, posting an NCAA-qualifying mark of 8,023 points.

Eaton, a graduate of Bend’s Mountain View High School, set a new personal best in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.08 seconds.....
