Lynch painted Timberline Lodge murals

PORTLAND — Douglas Lynch, a Portland artist whose murals are featured at the historic Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood, has died. He was 96.

Lynch’s wife, Alexandra Lynch, said he died of congestive heart failure Friday at their home.
