State boxing event set for Bend Armory

The 2009 USA Boxing Oregon State Championships are scheduled for this Friday and Saturday at the Bend Armory.

On Friday, the doors open at 6 p.m. and bouts begin at 7. On Saturday, the doors open at 4 p.m. and boxing starts at 5.

Admission is $15, and children 6 and under are free.
