Little has changed so far as the BLM works on new rules

For visitors to the 2-week-old Badlands Wilderness east of Bend, not much may look different these days under the new wilderness designation.

Motorized vehicles aren’t allowed in the wilderness area, but they’ve been banned from the Badlands since 2005.
