Nonprofit to help get books to kids

1,500 new books will be given to children’s groups

First Book-Deschutes County, a local nonprofit, will soon help give out 1,500 new books to area children.

The group is accepting applications from other nonprofits that work with children. First Book will give books to those nonprofits, which will then hand them out to children from families....
