Regarding the March 16 front-page article about six new off-leash dog parks and one expanded park for off-leash dogs. The cost of this is quoted as about $189,000 ($27,000 per park) to the taxpayers.

Couldn’t this money be better spent to help the homeless find shelter, feed the....
