Oregon State defeats Oregon 7-1 in the schools’ first meeting since 1981

EUGENE — John Wallace singled in two runs in the fourth inning and Oregon State went on to defeat Oregon 7-1 Friday as the two teams resumed their Civil War rivalry that was suspended 28 years ago when the Ducks dropped their baseball program.
