Walden will again push to speed up the thinning of forests

Congressman to unveil his plans today in Bend

WASHINGTON — The same day U.S. Rep. Greg Walden voted to put 200,000 acres of Oregon forests off-limits to logging, he said the next step is to allow more thinning projects in the rest of Oregon’s forests.
