Bend’s King set to compete in world championships

Max King, of Bend, is scheduled to compete in the 37th IAAF World Cross Country Championships this Saturday in Amman, Jordan.

He will be one of six Team USA members to race in the event.

King, 29, placed 54th in last year’s world championships, staged in Edinburgh, Scotland.
