An injured skier is evacuated from Tam McArthur Rim thanks to the preparedness of others on the trip

Rob Kerr was the last to ski the tricky slope, now mostly shaded as the late-afternoon sun waned.

Jonas Tarlen, Shane Fox and I watched as Rob weaved through trees and approached the last pitch slowly, then dropped in and made several quick turns in the fresh snow.
