Parr to close lumberyards in Redmond and Madras

Hillsboro-based Parr Lumber Co. announced Wednesday it will close its Redmond and Madras lumberyards on March 16, citing the region’s steep housing downturn and an ability to service Central Oregon from its remaining facilities in Bend and Prineville.
