Adm. Wesley McDonald, who as commander of U.S. forces in the Atlantic in 1983 organized the invasion of the Caribbean island nation of Grenada, which the Reagan administration contended was about to be taken over by Cuba, died Feb. 8 at his home in Arlington, Va. He was 84.
