MOUNT BACHELOR —

Somehow, the blur of legs and fur continued churning up the steep hill of groomed snow. The relentless dogs were slowed by gravity, but their innate and sheer desire to keep running helped them lug the 600 pounds of people and gear to the top.

Forget the mushers, sleds....
