Safeway issues recall

Safeway is recalling all six varieties of dry roasted peanuts and freshly-ground peanut butter sold at all of its 66 national stores with Nut Hut kiosks, including the Safeway at 320 S.W. Century Drive in Bend, due to concern about salmonella contamination. No illnesses have been reported.
