SEATTLE — Ashton Eaton, the 2008 NCAA decathlon champion from Bend, got his 2009 season started in style over the weekend.
A junior at the University of Oregon, Eaton set a UO record in winning the heptathlon Saturday at the two-day University of Washington Indoor Invitational.
