Neil Goldschmidt, the one-time boy mayor of Portland, later member of Jimmy Carter’s Cabinet, turned down a job last week, a job which hadn’t been offered formally. He’s not interested in becoming chairman of the Democrat National Committee, he told some sponsors.....
