TEMPE, Ariz. — Washington State (12-8, 4-4 Pac-10) rode the hot shooting of freshman Klay Thompson. who scored a season-high 28 points, to a 65-55 victory over No. 14 Arizona State on Thursday night. James Harden scored 26 points to lead the Sun Devils (16-4, 5-3).
