New towers expand Verizon coverage

Verizon Wireless announced Friday it has expanded its network presence in Central Oregon, with new cell tower sites on Sugar Pine and Masten buttes, both in south Deschutes County.

According to the company, its customers can now travel from Madras to the California border along U.S. Highway 97....
