Packing healthy, nutritious lunches for kids is a tricky deal for parents

Most parents who send their kids to Kid Works, a child care center in northeast Bend, do a good job of packing nutritious lunches, said director Traci Cole.

Still, she said, every so often the center gives a child a few extra veggies or a piece of fruit to round out his or her meal.....
