BROOKINGS — The U.S. Coast Guard rescued a 15-year-old boy from a cliff near Chetco River along the southern Oregon Coast.

Petty Officer Kelly Parker said Monday that the boy and two other people became trapped by the tide late Sunday afternoon and called for help.
