Bend runner named ultra marathoner of the year for 2008

Bend’s Kami Semick was named North American women’s ultra marathoner of the year by UltraRunning Magazine, according to a press release by the magazine Tuesday.

Ultra marathons include races longer than a 26.2-mile marathon.
