Local franchises offer value but sometimes miss the mark

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar is one of the most successful restaurant groups in the world. Launched in Atlanta in 1980, it now has nearly 2,000 locations across North America and Europe. Central Oregon is home to two Applebee’s, in north Bend and south Redmond.
