Are local pools ready for new safety rules?

Many are still waiting for the backlogged equipment to arrive

A federal law that is aimed at making pools and spas safer takes effect today, but not every pool or spa will be ready, including those at Juniper Swim & Fitness Center, the Athletic Club of Bend and the pools operated by the Redmond Area Park and Recreation District.
