New museum exhibit showcases historic photos of Eastern Oregon settlers

The High Desert Museum is saying happy 150th birthday to the state of Oregon in 2009 with a new photo exhibit, “Faces of the High Desert Heartland,” opening Wednesday.

The exhibit runs through April and features 35 large prints and small portrait collages taken between 1895....
