Wolf Creek residents rescue 3-legged dog

WOLF CREEK — A three-legged dog named Captain Jack is back home after volunteers and neighbors rescued him from a roadside vigil over his mother. The large dog with red fur had been standing guard near the body of his mother, a wolf-hybrid named Violet, along Interstate 5.
