Doctors and nurses at Central Oregon Pediatric Associates are seeing an uptick in the number of kids with strep throat, said Denise Del colle, a nurse at the clinic. Strep throat is a bacterial infection and can be spread through coughing, sneezing and sharing utensils or glasses.
