A life remembered

An accomplished outdoors writer, Central Oregon’s Ed Park recently passed away at the age of 78

Ed Park and I bounced over the rutted road in my old sport/utility and stopped at a barbed wire gate. When we topped out on the rise, two coyotes broke out of the meadow and streaked away through the sage. Ed saw them first.

We set up beneath a lightning-struck pine and watched the sun swing....
