Bend golfer nears dream of playing on LPGA tour

Taya Battistella is achingly close to realizing her dream of playing on the LPGA Tour.

The 29-year-old Bend professional golfer will tee it up today at the tour’s 90-hole Final Qualifying Tournament at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
